About the Journal

The journal of "Practical problems of physics and mathematics" was founded in 2025. The founder and the publisher of the journal is the University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences (UTAS). The journal has developed and approved cover and title pages with an indication of the institution, imprint of the issue, ISSN, eISSN, editorial board, editorial policy, publication ethics, and website. The aim of the journal: it aims to publish the results of scientific research and articles by scientists on practical problems and issues in physics and mathematics. Established as a leading periodical in physics and mathematics research, the journal offers an interdisciplinary approach, seeks to achieve broad international appeal, and strives to address various contemporary practical and theoretical problems in mathematics and physics.

Publication frequency

The journal is a continuously published online publication and does not have a printed alternative. The journal is published 4 times a year. Each issue is published every three months. Special issues of the journal may also be published as needed.

Only original, previously unpublished articles in English will be accepted.

University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences and the Department of "Scientific Research, Innovations and International Cooperation" of this university.

The objectives of the journal:

• to strengthen and develop applied mathematics and physics at both international and national levels in the scientific and publishing fields;

• promoting the advanced concepts and practices of effectively managing the scientific, innovative, and educational activities of leading researchers both domestically and abroad;

• creating open scientific discussions in the academic community and facilitating the exchange of experiences among scientists;

• making the results of scientists' research and scientific innovations available for use within the scientific community;

• expanding the scientific frontier by providing open access through the university's internet resources and portals.

Thematic areas of the journal:

In the journal materials, numerous pressing issues of physics and mathematics, like all branches of applied sciences, are covered. Articles on practical problems of physics and mathematics are accepted under the following thematic areas of the journal:

a) Physical chemistry of composite materials

b) Physics of semiconductor materials

c) Physics of condensed matter

d) Methods of mathematical computation

e) Theoretical and practical problems of mathematical analysis
