Abstract. This paper provides a comprehensive academic analysis of the dialectical relationship between language and society, synthesizing foundational sociolinguistic theories with cutting-edge developments in modern linguistic research. In the era of globalization, hypermigration, and digital transformation, the social matrix of language has expanded beyond traditional geographic boundaries. This study evaluates contemporary theoretical and methodological shifts in investigating language variation, socio-digital stratification, gendered discourse, and linguistic globalization. By critically examining the intersection of algorithmic language models with human social dynamics, the paper outlines a modernized methodological framework for contemporary sociolinguistics. The findings highlight the necessity of adopting mixed-methods, multimodal, and self-reflexive approaches to capture the fluid, adaptive nature of language as a reflection of societal evolution.
