The rapid development of digital technologies and the increasing demand for English language proficiency in higher education have necessitated the modernization of teaching methodologies in Uzbekistan. This paper presents methodological recommendations for implementing interactive and digital methods in English language teaching (ELT) for university students. The study highlights the current state of English language education in Uzbek universities, identifies existing challenges, and proposes practical ways to integrate modern approaches such as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), blended learning, gamification, and artificial intelligence tools.
